Chandresh, You do not need to spend 8 hours watching cricket to relax. And are you sure after watching a game, you are relaxed? May be you are more tense.

Watching cricket is indeed waste of time. And Thank God, India Lost, to save future of millions of Indian Students. ;)

Just a different perspective from my side.

I get very nervous and stressed if I am put to relax. For me relaxation is doing something different and in general it doesn't focus an economic prosperity.

I watch cricket with passion and I choose to support not just India but few other teams also. Hope you know that "Human being like to be depressed from time to time and like to come out, else why all these sad sher shayaris outnumber the happy-happy rap songs. This is a universally denied truth.

GG we are different I think - I for one who has not watched much cricket on TV and have not even seen it live (both of which I could afford to till I was in India), enjoys 8 hrs of cricket very much and so does my family and it recharges my batteries for a long time.

And if I could, I would still spend a lot of time watching club cricket and playing too - and that would require more than 8 hrs! And since we all have 24 hrs in a day, I would be willing to forego some other things which YOU might find more interesting.

http://imsports.rediff.com/score/us_match8251.html

Though this is not regarding the topic in discussion, I m following the Eng / Ire match on rediff and the current situation is IRE need 58 runs from 50 balls to win. However, what confuses me is that the RR is 13.13.. ...I belive it should be somewhere around 7.xx..is rediff misleading or am i making a mistake???

It was 58 runs from 26 balls.

And on that ball a batsman got out.

Thanx for the correction Chandreshji..I believe even the rediff scorer is least interested in correct reporting...
