Go to http://www.ontariocolleges.ca/portal/page/portal/ONTCOL/Home and search for medical radiation technologist or ultrasound or similar terms and contact the college for their requirements.

The Michener Institute located in Downtown Toronto is considered the best for paramedical technology programs, such as the EMT. Here is a link to their site

Thanks a lot guys for replies . I have checked Michener but most of their programes have mdedical background / BSC as a prerequisite . I am a diploma holder and that too from a non science background . I am totally lost as I don't know where to start .

You would have to get a minimum grounding in the sciences before any reputed insitute accepts you for such programs. That's just the way it is over here. Talk to Michener and find out what courses you need to take to qualify for the program. It may not be as complicated as you think. Also, if you do not have the necessary medical/science background how do you think you will be able to cope with such demanding programs?

Here is my take .
I am a very good and dedicated student overall . For my own reasons ,I chose non science carrer ( not that it was tougher to get in ) . After landing here , I have realized that I have to upgrade myself as my previous technical background will never fetch me more than $ 15 . If I have to study anyways that I would like to chose a industry which is recession proof and pays well in the long run . After my due research I narrowed down it to medical field . I do not want to become nurse as I cant stand blood . I am looking for all other alternates .
All suggestions are welcome and appreciated .

Kudos on your decision, but almost every healthcare related course needs some background in the sciences. Another profession that may be suitable is that of dental hygienist. One of the my relatives is a commerce graduate from India and had to pass a few courses before she became eligible to appy and be admitted for this program. Also, note that fees for this program are on the higher side between $20K-30K for a 2 year program. Good thing is that it qualifies under the second career program run by the Govt of Ontario, so you may be able to get it entirely funded.

Google is your best friend for more information on this.
