Dear Mr.Massood,
Happy new year (Islamic). I recd a letter today from the authorities in Paris for reconfirmation of my postal address to enable them to 'Send the visas by registered post'. I was of the opinion that the visas were stamped on our passports. Also, the suffix of the form as per their letter is "CV" Does it have any significance as earlier the suffix was blank! May I know whether the suffix carries a significance?
Thanks
Balaji

Good luck to everyone
The visa(s) are pasted onto your passport pages. CV is for their internal recognition. Don't worry about it.
