We finished our medicals 40 days ago, was wondering how long really do we wait for the visas to come as the kids are to be registered to the next academic year and could avoid all this if the visas were here. Just quering?

I don't know about Visa.. but you don't have to worry about kids schooling . They will get admission whenever you land here regardless academic year ... so be cool !

And I would add......DO NOT take out the kids from schools hoping that your visa is due and you got to move soon. I did that mistake and had to pay the admission fee again (US$ 1,500 in Indonesia!!).

And on a lighter note, which is after reading a question from one really nervous member of the forum - DO NOT plan any more kids till you land in Canada if you think it is not more than 2 years away. Both the CHC and airlines can creat problems for a pregnant wife!
