Hi we are residing in Gulf and will be soon doing our first landing. My husband is PMP and Lotus notes professional with 10 years experience just want to know what are the chances of him getting job in Canada and what salary should we expect.

I am not a PMP but as far as I know it has a good value here in Canada. 10 yrs experience in any IT technology with management skills is a huge experience.
Have you tried searching job openings in monsters.ca/workopolise etc, for Lotus notes (to get idea of the market)?

I moved from Dubai to Toronto in 2005. PMP + Gulf Experience should work not sure about Lotus Notes Experience. I know Lotus is used heavly in the Middle-East but in North America it has lost its charm. Especially programming DB's and Workflows.
Best way is to go with Workopolis / Monster. But not point unless you land in Canada. You will start getting calls only after you land here. Don't be surprised if you don't get any calls in the 1st month.
PMP with extensive Project Management experince is considered valuable , just certification will not be very helpful in landing a job here in Canada. Not sure if the LOTUS experience you have mentioed is of technical nature or project management ?

It's not that people are not intertested in responding, it's the lack of details that stop members from responding.
I am a PMP and worked in Lotus Notes too, I was very much tempted to respond to your message the very 1st day, but there wern't too many details to base my repsonse on.
If possible provide some more info. about yourself, that will help members to respond +vely.
