this is wat it said on the status for my oci

Registration Status Granted On 06-SEP-2008
Photo/Signature Scanned On 05-SEP-2008
Documents Printing Status NOT PRINTED
Documents Dispatched to Concerned Mission/Office on NOT DISPATCHED
Documents Received at TORONTO NOT YET

m i suppose to receive anything in the letter or shud i go to consulate?

it says Documents Received at TORONTO NOT YET
now is it ready or i shud wait..
i applied for it july 25 at the consulate.
any help appreciated.

Congratulations on getting your OCI status . Sometimes CGI is little behind in updating their website for current status. But in your case it is very much apparent that your doc's have been just printed ( I guess in India ) and it has not been dispatched yet to Toronto . Wait for another week or so before you proceed to CGI . In my case I went to CGI when I saw the status of doc's as Dispatched to toronto ( but still not rcd in tor) ..

Unless you have an urgency to get the OCI card, go after it says recieved in Toronto. You will save time and get it done in one visit.

no im not in hurry..i will wait..just wanted to knw if ic an go pick up the oci card yet or not...
i guess will have to wait another month or so?
i have one more question.
can i pick up my brother oci card on behalf of him if i show them the recite and his canadian passport?
