Hi,

I sent two important documents to USA by Canadapost on April 10th by EXPRESS POST. The status of one of the documents shows that it is delivered on April 19th. But the status of the other says that it had left Canada but no status about the delivery. Canadapost says that they are monitoring it as they have no clue what happened. I can't find out from the receiver.

What can be done? Any experiences or suggestions?

I did hear some thing similar to your experience almost two years back..................If it is a registered post or parcel, the Canada post can track it...................Hope the best...............

Alternatively you can try FedEx for your future mailing.....Especially if it is very important document.

I sent a package to india sometime back by CP's Express post, and the package was not delivered, Canada post asked me to wait for 90 days...when the package was still not traceable I was refunded the cost of postage and $100 .

So keep your reciepts safely if you send any package ot india.

In 2003, I had sent my application for CPA exam by Canada Post Registered Mail service (or whatever it is called).

A few days later I found that the tracking site showed it left Canada but was not delivered. I waited for a few days (though checking it twice a day on the internet) and finally called the CPA exam office. They confirmed that they had received the package in time and had processed the same.

Canada post could not trace it and finally refunded me the postage amount!

Silly Canada post - better than Indian service, but still not what one would expect from a DEVELOPED nation!

i sent a package to india recently...and it says it left canada ...thats it...been a month...i know it reached...i guess i will follow up with canadapost too ,,
had paid around 150 in postage !!!
