My contract is coming to an end and I m on the lookout for a new one . Profile 10 yrs Database related experience : Data Architect / ETL Developer / Database Designer - Modeler OLTP OLAP , DBA / Systems Analyst / Oracle DB Developer .... Datawarehousing Environment preferred .

First suggestion: Is it fulltime? or contract? Pick one. (I know, bad economy don't let you have option. Accept what you get, kind of thing)
There are managers who are looking for fulltime employee and would never consider any candidate who is 1% ready to accept contract positions.
But, that are managers who want to fill a contact positions, but are looking for individuals that are interested in fulltime as well ( kind of contract-to-hire)
Nobody want to hire someone who do not show long term commitment. (Unless, the work is such that it has to be done for once and for all)
Compensation, anywhere from 65K-85K+benefits with position ranging from Sr. developer to say tech lead (but keep in mind, the title is often misleading). Or 55/hr to 70/hr. FT salary might be different based on attached benefits.
Include what business line your projects are involved in. A pure technical introduction will not help you long enough. Target those companies what have matching business with your background. Or, have enough convincing power to get into business line that's not on your profile. It's tough, but "doable". Good luck!
