Anyone know of any adult desi soccer teams looking for players in the Missi / Brampton area ? Looking to play at a recreational level but will consider competitive standard also.

How about you go tell that to the numerous ethnic-based soccer teams in GTA (Italian, Serbian, Portuguese, Latinos etc). Same applies to cricket teams.

I've played in soccer leagues both in Europe and Canada with players of all nationalities. I just wanted to add a social dimension and play at a slower fun pace with fellow brown players. I could have gone all the way and stipulated in true Shaadi.com style a particular region, religion, language, race, caste, skin complexion and intellect but I thought I'd leave it at just 'desi'....lol.

yeah I guess thats true .. you see the Italians and Portuguese form their own teams.

Funny you say that brown slower paced teams. Its assumed if the team is brown it should be slower paced .. lol. Which is sadly true.

Desis generally suck at sports.

anyway I was just curious. I get the social dimension part since I wouldn't mind that too.
