I don't know if you have Sobey's around your area. But they usually have nice designs. Little expensive, though. We did Thomas the tank engine for yr 1, Cars for yr 2 and Bugs Life for yr 3.

Besides the icing, they come with the cheapest plastic toy that seem to last the most among my kid's toys :)

A "COOL" Cake... try Dairy Queen. They have "COOL" cakes

On a serious note, gopalpai has a good suggestion. Those cakes should be available at Metro (atleast Dominion had them). Sam's Club also had they, unfortunately they don't exist (in Canada) any more

first and foremost, it is your son's birthday, ask him what he like, show him pictures of all cartoon channel and ask him to select the design of cake. My son told me guitar and second birthday spiderman and third birthday, he rquested for harry potter. Observe when your little one is excited whild he is watching TV.

secondly, it is children in fact infant birthday, who is not bothered with elegance. since children elder to your son will be coming for birthday, try to celebrate birthday in KFC, Mac Donald, etc. My friend sonia is working for KFC and ask her. she is in food industry since 5-7 years, she is the right person to guide and help you. Her tel no. **********

It is decoration, chocolates, crowd (more children) instead of elegance that will make your son happy. It is the song happy birthday to you, balloons, birthday mask, cap etc will bring hapiness on your son's face.

If you give importance to adults instead of children during the celebration, then you will be disappointed. Adults will appraise/criticise the function but children will certainly enjoy enjoy and only enjoy. They will not talk behind your back.

edited: Please dont put phone numbers in a public forum which is available online for anyone to read, especially someone else's. Prvt message it if you wish. Thanks. Morning_rain.
