Hi guys,

I read this thread for the first time. I can't describe as to how much I adored Kishor Da. He was just great !!!!! In my scool and college days, I used to have like 10 audio cassetts all from KK. I eventually lost all as friends would take it for few weeks !!!! DARN !!!!!

He was just superb / fantastic / awesome / great / !!!!!!!! What more to say. Hey O Nerd, you just mentioned that you got some mp3s, could you pl email ? I don't know if email is possible, if not, I guess you can do a file transfer via either msn or yahoo messenger. I could log in at the same time you would log in, and we can do that. Once I have it, I'll burn it on CD. Oh my God, I can't wait for your reply.

Reachash.. Unf you wont be there in Bangalore while I am there next year. Else I could have given you abt 60 Gigs of Music !!!

A friend of mine, who also lives in Toronto, is originally from Bangalore, and guess what, even he is gonna be in Bangalore, next year for a marriage ceremony in his family. I saw this post today only. In words I can't express how much I love his voice. The trio of GULZAR - PANCHAM - KISHORE was truely magestic. I have some 250 songs of kishore kumar.

Let me list out some of my personal favourites, which I am sure you will like to copy as albums (this is what I have done, number wise albums), Kishore-1, kishore-2 etc..

A great film by KK himself... Goes to his genious and the fact that no one will ever be like him in the near future.

If I were you I would throw away those Mp3's .. That's cos they are from Kazaa If I were you, I would get hold of friends, friends ke friends etc. etc. and rummage their basements. Then rip those cds and get the songs. Actually, thats how I got hold of my collection ...

This is a song, which I had as a poor 128 Kbps rip from the Napster days. Just got a high quality version of this song 2 days back and boy oh boy... its just awesome
