Hey,
I am selling this car because my unit will be sent back to Iraq and don't want it getting old in my garage. The price is low because I need to sell it before the middle of July. The vehicle is in great condition and runs great. It is still available for sale if interested, price as stated in the ad US $2900.The car is in St. Paul , Minnesota and in case it gets sold I will take care of the shipping charges.
Let me know if you are interested; email me back.

second email :

I am in a military base now. We are training, getting ready for Iraq . I am only allowed to check my email.I hope you can understand that we will have to stick to email for now.
Being in the army has some advantages. I can ship it very cheap. I will ship it with DAS. I will take care of the shipping charges, like I said in my first email. I think I can have it there in 5-7 working days. I am a member of the eBay buyer protection program and using this service you will get a 3 days testing period after delivery. During that 3 days testing period I will not be getting any money. I need to know if you are interested in buying it so I can ask eBay to send you the details on how this works. If interested please include in your next email your contact info for eBay (name, address and #) so we can get things started.

How to go about this deal?

A clear cut fraud. If he/she is selling it on eBay then the item must be listed up there. Ask them about the item no. If they are covered under eBay Protection program, then ask them about their eBay member ID. I worked at eBay Canada in the past, so I know these things happen more frequently and this fraudster is most probably based in Nigeria. Talking from my experience dealing such issues during my stint at eBay.

It's a fraud when they start asking for your personal details, such as Name, Address, phone no., Bank Account, etc. By the way, what's the Car make, model no., year, mileage, Kms, etc.?

I live by this rule: If something sounds too good to be true, it certainly is.

This is not a deal for you, it is a deal for them.

It is an interesting world we live in where people are ready to buy cars, rent apartments, etc., over the internet without ever seeing these in person.

Certainly a fraud. Please stay away. RAV4, 53000 Kms, 2003 and only for 2900? Come on! Ask this guy about their eBay member id and the item no. and they will whisk away. Better still, stop communicating. I would if I were at your place.
