No need to catch up in spendings on marriage functions, we already have dowry system , enough to trouble married women and their parents.
About 1000 new brides die in Delhi every year by burning. Earlier the figures was more. Due to dowry trouble poor people kill their daughters in womb.
Cars and decorations done by chinese are quite good. we also do good decorations in India - gizmos, flower decoration, fireworks etc etc and i dont think that every chinese marry in such a fashion.
