Thanks very much the information. Believe me, many executives in local banks here in Canada (actually Indian banks) have no clue about this information.

Any body or your friend or any one you know managed to get the money for such a sum mentioned in the subject recently? Pls share how did it go ?

I'm planning to get some loans from back home ?

I have similar query, I plan to bring some money by bank account transfer from another country (not India) so is there any limitation, i had originally declared this amount in the landing form some time ago

pls clarify / share your experiences

Absolutely no problem - I have done it and going to do later this month again to pay off my mortgage
