I am looking for immediate help from fellow cd's. I am wondering if anyone of you has practical experience of knowledge of which school in Mississauga is better. I am comparing Sherwood Heights and Northstar Montessori School. Any response is really appreciated..would really need a quick answer. Thanks a lot.

Let me know if you are open to other schools. My son goes to grade 6 in Rowntree Montessori in brampton.

As we moved to new house and there was no bus service from Sherwood so now he is going to public school.

How was his experience in moving from Private to public school? At what age did he start Sherwood and at what age did he move to the public school?

Our 2 year old goes to a montessori as well and we just want to know how kids transition from private to public school.

Well in my case my son was not too happy in private school as he joined the school in grade 5 and was there only for 1 year. Other students were in the same school probably since grade1 or so. But i noticed that he was more attention to studies. Now in public school he is doing fine just has more time to play etc where as in private school too many projects for him and us to complete. I would recommend if you are going to put your kid in private school do it in early grades else they suffer little bit. Class size was 8 or 9 in my son's case.
