Hello all,

I have one year of experience in Accounting (NOC : 1111), but the designation is Assistant Manager.

My Questions are :
============

1. I have got a certificate from company, with my accounting roles and responsibilities. Is this fine..Is there possibility of rejection due to the fact that the designatin was Assistant Manager rather than Accountant

2. In Case of Rejection, is there possibility of reapply under FSW
after completing one year of stay in canada (i.e Category 2 Condition)

Thanks in Advance

regards
Rajkumar

You know your qualifications and experience. Here is the description of Main Duties, you must have all of them in your Job description, and in the Employment requirements either or, and also see the additional information too. If you do not have those, then you do not fall into that category. You have to eliminate yourself out of that category.

FSW system of selection is under the butcher's knife and when all of the 38 categories hit the chopping block, we will know what gets left behind. Also your self appraisal scores are under scrutiny and they might raise the bar to a higher levels. All of this is news and I will post it some time soon to the group.

One thing will be in your favour, which is arranged employment and being present in Canada and find yourself a desirable candidate.

Freddie.

hardly 7% guys get job online. even odd jobs are hard to get without reference. there are thousands of jobs but how to grab is a difficult query to answer.

If the only reason you are not returning to India is because of the high prices of air tickets, check out orbitz.com, some times good deals are available for one way.

If you have PR and no other big compulsions, getting an odd job is not that difficult.
Ticket to India on 9th June was 956 by KLM. My wife went on that on return basis( if she returns ;) ). So you are not focussed or lying.... just getting a kick by raising the issue on CD.

MGupta is right. I had my people in SASk and there were jobs. But do not jump.... There are many other factors .
Point is that you can go a little on the side and get it.
So many companies are hiting for G20 security. Garda is hiring .... I saw the ad. All companied desparately need security people.
yes if you want costly apt. and holiday trips to Niagara with boat view and eat outside every week, that Canada is expensive.
I am not saying CAnada is great but is not bad either.
