I think you need to check the facts again. China censors Google, so the Chinese dissents are not able to organize protests like Tiananmen Square.
So, its an internal thing. China is in no way able to censor what Google can bring up to the outside world or with any other media outlets - hence the world condemned what the Communists did in 1989 [Tiananmen Square].
Hope that helps.

India should have taken extra measure to sensor the pictures which media takes.
If u become a sales person and company tells u that u should always say that ur product is the best in the world. On one day, due to emotions u have u tell the true story and get fired. After that I think u will know what the marketing is.
China censors Google results to make sure nothing is revealed to the world which can make the country's image bad.
I think u get it.

Umm ... not quite. China is censoring what the internal audience can see (i.e afterall they are communists who don't believe in free press), what you are advocating is total censorship i.e what Indians and external world can see.
Some difference.

That is what I said, no body has right to interfere in the internal thing of the country.

Actually it is. If we say its the "BEST" games ever, why resort to manipulating, censoring the product.
A quality product sells on its own merits. The minute you start to censor it - you are admitting that its not the "BEST".

There is nothing harm in doing that. After all it is the image of the country and to control that every measure is good enough.

Not really!
The way to look into this is the situation (event/product) has to be PLAUSIBLE for one to laud it as the "BEST".
For example, in marketing terms BMW can plausible claim to be the "BEST" when compared to Mercedes Benz.
The CONGRESS GOVT started this campaign for CWG by stating it would be a showcase - beating even China's 2008 Olympics.
As media reports (in India and Abroad) show the event planning thus far was mediocre, at best.
In Melbourne, it cost $1.1bn; in Delhi it cost $6.6bn ... and still we see “filthy” conditions and shoddy workmanship
Even worse, any improvements that are taking place is a result of the international outcry, with countries all over the commonwealth complaining and threating to withdraw.
At the last minute, media reports reveal that funds allocated over for poverty reduction have been diverted to CWG (to save the image of MMS, SONIA and CONGRESS).
And we talk about Brand Management and Marketing!!

You need to learn marketing techniques. Once u do that u will automatically understand what I am trying to say.
Did u know that "BEST" is the word which can have only one existence, but still so many countries say they are the best, we are the best...It is all about positive propaganda even if u know that u r not what u r saying.
