People really have gone mad here looks like. Shocking.
You do not know why in melbourne it was costing 1.1 and in delhi 6.6 billion. Do you have the details of estimates and expenditures?
Funds reserved for poverty has been diverted to CWG ! Were you there to see this happening?
If you take media reports as basis for your talks, then it is highly idiotic. You are wasting your energy and wrong publicity.
If you continue to talk like this, no one will listen to your well supported arguments even.

The way to look into this is the situation (event/product) has to be PLAUSIBLE for one to laud it as the "BEST".
For example, in marketing terms BMW can plausible claim to be the "BEST" when compared to Mercedes Benz.
The CONGRESS GOVT started this campaign for CWG by stating it would be a showcase - beating even China's 2008 Olympics.
As media reports (in India and Abroad) show the event planning thus far was mediocre, at best.
In Melbourne, it cost $1.1bn; in Delhi it cost $6.6bn ... and still we see “filthy” conditions and shoddy workmanship
Even worse, any improvements that are taking place is a result of the international outcry, with countries all over the commonwealth complaining and threating to withdraw.
At the last minute, media reports reveal that funds allocated over for poverty reduction have been diverted to CWG (to save the image of MMS, SONIA and CONGRESS).
And we talk about Brand Management and Marketing!!![]()

1) Were you there to see the funds alloted for poor people being diverted to CWG? I mean are you part of an official?
2) Do you have details of expenditures for 1.1 b and 6.6 b ? I mean official details as otherwise you are just talking what media is talking.
You know i studied and was brought up in India and dealt with international community ( Far east, australian, middle east, europeon, canadian and american ) for work. I do not conclude anything unless i see, analyse myself.
Do not just echo what others say, i am just telling you in your personal interest. Take care.
For most of the people including me, it is just news, read it. That s all you can do and if you conclude something based on this, i am afraid, you will do the samething in your pesonal life too.
You are free to conclude what you like.
The rest of the world will conclude what they read whether it is reasonable also [and what standard we uphold]

For most of the people including me, it is just news, read it, forget it.
You mean the rest of the world would feel reasonable to conclude the amount spent is 6.6 b and diverted from the amount allocated for poor people?
Did you have opportunity to meet with "rest of the world" to conclude? Again and again you are writing what "you" feel.
Are you seriuos or Joking?
We bother about "us" and not "you"
