Hello All
I was just wondering if any one of you or any one you know has bought an investment property in the US. I am seriously looking to buy a condo in downtown Chicago or downtown Orlando for investment purpose only. Would like to hear from people who have prior experience in doing this.

Do you have any local representation there?
There are many complex issues involved, such as cross border taxation, legal liabilities, etc.
It is not as simple as just buying any house/property there.
Esp. in FL, there is a lot of junk houses and garbage properties for sale.
Many people have become stuck with properties they can't sell or even rent out.
