Thanks TK for explaining in detail for converting a residential land into a residential locality.

However, what I was referring to is the city planning which could tell us what land would be good for residential development in future.

But what I understand is all the big buiders have their own guys sitting in the offices and they grab the land as soon as some new plans are approved or even in the pipeline.

Good Info TK. Laws here are quite clear and the government employees are nice, so it should be relatively easy to enter in this market. As you said you will just need to indetify corrept people from the private sector.

In USA I know quite a few desis are in this business. I am sure in Canada there should be many, however I don't know any.
