There is good news for those CDs who yearn for going back to India. If they have little patience, Toronto might resemble Hyderabad of India in ten years time.

The article does not state whether my money (Taxpayer money) is utilized for pious purpose of paying pious Imam dispensing pious knowledge of Koran. Unfortunately, it seems from the article that Koran classes are not compulsory for ALL the students. Hopefully, within 10 years they would make it compulsory for ALL students so that they have proper appreciation of Alla's message of love and peace.
In due course, hopefully we would have Sharia compliant state in Canada where we can live pious life with up to four wives and enjoy the bliss. If you are skeptical, look at the link below.

I do not know why some one wants to make this country the same as the country they fleed from ??

Btw, Hyderabad is a good story. A predominantly moslem area which did not want to be part of the Indian union and had to be forcebly taken over.
Hyderabad of today is a bustling city where Hindus have actually won the demographic/economic/cultural war, which is a huge achievement in a Congie state where pseudo-secular, communistic ideologies dominate.
Changes were subtle(during NTR's time for eg. the bus routes were printed/displayed exclusively in telugu) and not so subtle(police/military was used to crush the rampaging mobs during communal riots), so much so that the troublemakers stopped wagging their tails.
These bad habits seem to have rubbed off on average, middle/upper class moslems as well. Like any average gult, upward mobility has become the primary goal in life.

If you know the story of liberation of Hyderabad, you will not say it was forcibly taken over. It was a story of Poor people of telangana (including muslims) who wanted democracy instead of corrupt Nizam and his private army
A lot of Muslim brothers from telangana lost their lives while fighting against Nizam
Several Muslim poets and intellectuals who wanted Hyderabad to be part of India were persecuted by Nizam and his private army - the notorious Razakars.
Plane loads of Pakistanis were brought over into Hyderabad before the Nizam was defeated - some of whom stayed till today and are the real trouble makers.
Thanks to Nightmare for bringing this incident to light.

Our Schools are on their way to being turned into Madrassas. Thankfully, Canadian Hindu advocacy groups are taking a firm stand on this issue.
Any updates from CD's staying in that part of the city?
