Belated happy returns of the day buddy. I celeberated mine on 24th May. So we are Geminians hunh??

By the way did you know that Chinese celebrate two birthdays. One nine months before the English birthday. e.g If you were born on Say Sep 30th of a year say 2003, your Chinese birthday would be Jan 1st 2003 - the day you were conceived.. makes sense...

Anyways... I had my friends cut me a cake and have it too.!!

Just a thought...I wonder why people celebrate birthdays. Is it because you are closer to getting a Visa to visit the Almighty? or is it that we have mellowed/ jaded/ got some more of that wisdom?

And just to let you know, I did not celebrate my birthday yesterday in the traditional manner. My family was all ready to go out for a nice Chinese dinner and when I went home - I told them I want to stay at home and eat traditional 'khichadi' - like the one my mother used to prepare. It was great!

Any conclusions drawn?

This talk reminds me of a 'langar' ceremony that a friend hosted, a cpl of weeks back. The rotis were awesome!!! Have not eaten rotis like that for about 8 yrs.

Shows how somethings (taste buds) will never change.

btw, My birthday is a cpl of weeks away...I am younger than you...albeit by a few days
