I don't agree with all your points, for some it takes a little bit longer, but eventually everyone is better off (not in all sense though)
People in India have to work beyond 8 hours, commute 2-3 hours (in metros)
saturday off ka koi guarantee nahi.
I totally agree if one is doing well in India (or anywhere else) doesn't have to think about moving

Yes, I could not agree with you more. And when you tell the people back in India they think you don't want them to come here for all the wrong reasons.

I was lucky to be offered a job within ten days of my arrival and bought my own home within six months but I know a lot of people who were successful back in India and working at Wal mart now for peanuts.:cuss:

It's important that anybody coming here should do their homework because once you get here you the possibility of your running out of money can become a reality.

Atsz:

You may be right on some aspects but know the following:

1.90% of Desi kids I know are doing very well at schools in Canada and USA and many of them winning awards. They love the school and they are practical.

2.Their success depends upon what values we teach them and what role models we show them at home ( from age 3).

3.In fact, lots of colleges in India ( mainly cities) has a drug problem

4.When I went to India last time, one family known to me really cried about the things their college going son is doing.

This is my end comment. If you are a middle aged person, qualified and working in India …. You will be financially, socially, Psychologically much better-off by staying there only.

Instead of complaining, let us put our expert comments on how to improve on the present system. It is true that, People who are monetarily well off should not come and suffer in canada doing labour jobs etc.

Let us look at the other side of the coin, some people who are jobless or living below poverty in their own country find canada a pure heaven because if they convert $10 per hour and say 8 hours in a day and 40 hours in week earch say $400 per week and $1600 per month converted into INR 75000.how many people earn Rs.75000/- in month. let us take one bachelor/spinster come here and he/she is earning $1600 a month and paying accomodation $350 pm+food 300 pm + misc exps 200/- Even if a person is spending say $1000/- and saving say $500 convert this in INR 23000-25000/-. This is what is making canada beautiful. How many people in India/Asia are able to save INR 25000 pm.

In canada, lack of job opportunities is due to economy suffering and because of some of the benefits which is making people lethargic and people are taking wrong advantage of EI or second career etc. Now consider CCTB, which is credited to our account every month. Are children really benefiting from such CCTB, instead Govt should divert such funds in such a way that children benefit. for eg : divert some funds to school for activities, divert some funds to children saving account for higher studies, divert some funds to Medical Insurance for medicine which will generate job opportunities. All children should be given CCTB irrespective of the Income earned by their parents.Canadian Govt should be strict and stop giving CCTB to children who are outside canada. They should stop healthcare to people who are outside canada for more than 180 days. They should stop giving pension to the people who are outside canada for more than 180 days. If Canadian Govt cross check with airport authorities and take refund from children who are outside canada for more than 1-2 months, Govt will get huge amount of funds which can be diverted to generate job opportunities.

If you ask anybody today, they are all on EI why? Those who are on EI are benefiting from funds of second career. Here you are not successful in first career and wasting money on second career then third career. How many career in one lifetime?

In canada and USA, there is no job security why? What can be done to improve on to job security?

Put all your ideas on this forum as how to improve present system.

Why stop pension if you are out of country? It is not paid by the government. It is all paid by you and your employer.

26. How is the Canada Pension Plan financed?

The Canada Pension Plan is a "contributory" plan. This means that all costs are covered by the financial contributions paid into the Plan by employees, their employers and self-employed people, and from interest earned on the investment of that money. The Canada Pension Plan is not funded through general tax revenues.
_______________

About CCTB, it is up to you and your financial situation whether you want to use that money for buying food and clothing for children or putting them in a RESP account.

my friend forgot to calculate the rent and other expense are really expensive here compare to India.

my friend if someone is earning 25000 pm, he also expending way more than what he was expending India for his basic living expenses, isn't it?
