IMO, BCCI needs to arrange a one-off test match against Bangladesh or Zimbawe. The match should be held at Mumbai so that SRT can score his 100th century infront of the home crowd. At least that will end the speculation. The whole Aussie tour is only focused on his 100th century rather than winning a test for the country. It's a shame.
Looking at younger players, Raina was given couple of chances, he failed. Same for Yuvraj. Not sure about R. Sharma. Kohli played ok in the third test, still scared of swing bowling. C. Pujara was good against Aussies at home, but his physical fitness is a question. May be Rahane may come out as the wild card. Gambhir need to stick to one dayers and 20-20.
What I dont get it is that these players score well in the IPL matches. How so?
IPL matches are played in Indian pitches and also it is a game of luck. Every one takes a swing at the ball and hence it is a matter of luck. May be the returns (paisa) was good.
In test, it is not like that. Besides the games are played in Australia where the Indians feel inferior playing to an Australian crowd.
Peace
