Hi All

looks like there are not many cricket buffs around on this site.I was just thinking abt arranging a six a side cricket match with 2 teams formed.All we need is 12 players.Logistics is all planned all we need is 12-16 players.

Malton community centre provides equipment and rents their arena and the cost of the match will come to around 5-7 dollars per person.

would like to see die hard canadian desis to participating which includes Garvo Bhai;Anand Bhai;Chandresh Jee ;Vimal Jee;Sanjeev Manocha and AShish Bhai.

It will be a Indoor match so weather doesnt affect us and will be played in australian quick cricket format.

How is June 11/12 as tentative dates.

Need comments and advice guys.

Thanks VJ for ur response.All we are planning is a one off match and nothing more.

I am planning to form 2 teams of one canadian desi organisers(like Garvo bhai and other names mentioned earlier) and other of its members like you and me.
so all we need is 4-5 more players and we are good to go.
