We have to pin it on Jaitley, because of the timing or otherwise of this latest development. Being second in the Cabinet next to PM, holding both Finance and I&B, and also BCCI Vice President, he has to take credit for this 'patriotic' act. To exclude Modi's patriotic RSS image getting tarnished, this effort is being carried out just after he had boarded the flight to Beijing for his next picnic and waved off by Jaitley and other colleagues.
Apart from this the greed for power and money for those ruling us is mind boggling. Not even a fortnight since we had seen Lakhvi let off from prison and no credible action taken on Mumbai terror. Day in day out, Kashmir is poisoned by the enemy. Isn't there a regard for the blood drops shed by our innocent civilians and our brave jawans.
PCB and the greedy BCCI wants to play 3 Tests, 6 ODI and 2 T20 in UAE. What if in the midst of the series there was a terror strike like Mumbai attack and our innocent people and brave soldiers get killed. Has there been a guarantee from Dawood, Hafiz Sayeed or Lakhvi that such a terror event will not happen. Is it not shameful to hold a series based on 'assurances' given by such under world people. Is not UAE haven for betting and match fixing?
The reason given is that we are already playing Soccer, Kabaddi and Hockey with Pakistan. It must be just like in Cricket, that we must also be NOT holding other bilateral sports events and not the other way around.
Looks as if Jaitley will single handedly ensure this BJP government will be worse than UPA.

Whichever party comes to power, they must be wary of some brilliant Supreme Court lawyers hijacking people's and party's agenda.
After getting thrown out by the people for the wrongdoings when in power, these Supreme Court lawyers will still have a roaring time, charging lacs of rupees for every hour, but not the party or their dedicated members. They will have to be on the streets when rejected by the people.
The top honchos of any party should keep this in power and should keep these lawyers at arms distance. Earlier it happened with the Congress and UPA when they patronised Chidambaram, Kapil Sibal and others.
Now it is BJP's turn of harboring Jaitley and Mukul Rastogi .
See what Jaitley's I&B ministry and the AG have jointly done to Home ministry and thereby to national security.

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
The BCCI seems to be totally insensitive to the mood of the people in again and again going to the government for permission to stage an Indo-Pak series. Today is 26/11 and the national news media both print and TV channels want people to forget those innocents who were killed in Mumbai. Only then all the vested interests can rake in the moolah through ads. and sponsorship. That Pak had not mended its ways hardly matters.

If the government really cares for the common man or for the brave jawans and officers who lay down their lives on every day basis in protecting our borders, it must ask the BCCI never to step in seeking permission to stage an Indo-Pak series. If at all Pakistan starts behaving like a civilized nation, it would telephone BCCI permitting to play cricket with Pakistan.
