Is CPA really add value to the following individual?
-Been in Canada for over 10 years
-Doing well in his career
-Have a canadian designation
Pros
-CPA is after all a CPA
-Will help getting CPLD (continuous professional learning and development) credit
-USA?
Cons
-Money..not much,but, is it worth it?
-Time, efforts
-Not quite eager to study, but, why not?
I know that there is no right or wrong answers..just some prospectives would be helpful.

I would say it will definitely add value to this individual's credentials...
I would add following to the Pros. your mentioned:-
- If he decide to move back to india, CPA has better recognition there than Canadian designation...... you have recent experience with indian market, what do you say?
- In Canada as well...in case of a US MNC recuitment... having CPA on top of your Canadian designation, will definitely be considered an Asset...
In the Cons section, I would only mention "time and effort"....
