Greetings,
I am planning a two day sightseeing trip to Ottawa.
It is mostly for my parents who are visiting for a couple of months, so I am looking for nature sports, and the usual touristy buildings, etc.
Can anyone help me with some suggestions and guidance.
First of all, is the sightseeing in Ottawa worth two days, or is one day enough?
Secondly, I want to cut through the glitz of the travel books and the tourism websites and figure out exactly what spots are worth the time and effort.
Third, are there any other areas around Ottawa that are worth a visit?
It'll be great if someone can suggest a mini-itinerary for a trip to Ottawa and thereabouts.
Many thanks.

Hi,
You can visit the following
1. Parliment
2. Supreme court of Canada
3. Governor's residence
4. Harbor boat trips (They show the prime minister's residence from the boat).
5. The Royal Mint
6. Flght museum
Hi there pratickm,
I am searching for a lot of links in Ottawa and I see your request for info and I feel you might find this interesting. Use it to the best. You might need two full days to see most of them. A few are closed for the summer, but you still can see the architectural beauties from the outside. You can eliminate most of the winter scenes here as they are not in there currently, please see the 'pics'. Pick a few of the scenes that are in the pics and please make your own route and if you are driving then stop at different places and GET OUT and see them.
I cannot come up with one in a hurry. Hope this helps.
