My family(son/daughters) are in canada can they call us on super visa. What all they are required to submit. Also do they required to send an invitation if yes, please guide for contents of invitation. Is is possible out of 2, presently super visa is required for 1 person
me and my spouse were PR of canada and due some reason we lost our residency status. My son and daughters are there, will there be any problem for getting tourist/Supervisa. Also let me know how can make my case strong to avoid refusal.
Ofcourse yes, they can call you on Super Visa if you want to stay beyond 6 months. Many old people find it difficult to stay beyond 6 months, so think about it else even a normal visitor visa would do. The application for visitor visa and super visa is same with the difference being one has to show insurance proof.
Your lost PR status would not hamper this application. Are you sure you lost PR status. Why don't you apply for Returning resident permit? If you get it, you can come back and appeal for your PR. I am sure since you have family there, you can get your PR back on Humanitarian grounds.
Also other option is use your landing paper and travel by private vehicle from US if you have US visa.
Regardless I dont think visitor visa should be a problem

It all depends on what your ultimate goal is, if you want to live in Canada ofcourse yes. If you dont want and come only for visit chuck it.
My parents are in same situation. I could appeal for them but they have decided they cant live here. So it really depends on what you want to do

Sir,
I am not able to understand your true situation.
There are a lot of gaps in the information that you have presented before us.
Since your PR expired in 2009, it is almost 6 year now. So they are not giving you a resident return permit.
But your wife's PR expired in 2014, which is quite new and hence they are giving her a 6 month visa.
You should let your family members in Canada, contact a qualified immigration lawyer in Canada to explore your options. There some tricks that the immigrations lawyers can do to make sure that your wife can stay in Canada for a long time.
I am of the opinion that your wife should enter Canada and file for an extension of 6 months to her visa. She will be allowed to stay there till the result comes (in 2 months) or will the extension of another 6 months, if her visa is approved. The lawyer would no doubt file under H&C case. He will do a lot of tricks to ensure that her case is approved.
Regarding you, I am not sure. May be you can apply for a visa or a Super visa and see the outcome. Once in Canada, your lawyer update you on the activities that can be done.
FH will help you soon. It is a very complex case. Please follow the advise of a qualified immigration / refugee laywer who has done a lot of H&C appeals before.

It is like a lottery. It also depends on the visa officer handling your case.
For your wife, there is no problem. Let her enter Canada and ask for 6 month extension from there.
Now for you, PR expiry is a downer. The visa officer may come to a conclusion that you may not return back. However, if you have a job in India, vast income, good properties in India, widely travelled, this can add to your profile.
Visit the website and see what are the documents needed for super visa / visa and apply. If it is refused, apply the second time and then a third. This is a lottery only.
You did not tell us your age, your profession etc.. A lot of it matter on this 2 bits of information.
You can ask your children to get a letter of recommendation from their MP. It may help in some cases.
If you are a christian, you can get a letter of good conduct from your priest, outlining what all facilities that you did for the church etc.. It will create a sense of good will as most visa officers are christian.
