What exactly you want help in. It should be pretty straight forward with plug in the HDMI to TV and then to the Power source. The apps should already be there on the home screen. All you need to do is to go to the settings (or something similar option) and select your Wifi Network.
I don't think you can watch anything other than the Videos via. apps that are already pre-installed.
I have found these Media Players are pretty limited to the content. Still prefer a spare laptop (or buy a cheaper one), or a Raspberry Pi (a smaller and cheap computer module - Google it) to watch anything that I would like.
Please hook it up first and then come back and let us know what exactly you want to watch. Pretty much, you are limited to the content it comes pre-ship with.
1. You need to setup your internet connection.
2. Create an account with roku.com
3. Once you do that you can see pre-installed apps which can allow you to see some free content, and for more content you will need to pay a monthly subscription fees. They take your fees from the credit-card you have given while signing up roku.com
4. For Indian Content, probably the only option is sling.com
5. You can install additional apps by directly using roku device of by going to roku.com
Also remember that this is streaming content - if you keep it on 24/7 it can easily consume your bandwidth and you will be shocked to get a huge bill from Rogers or whatever you are using.
