Has anyone had experience with this - just checking if this is legit and what is the catch if any...

Is it possible for me to get my credit scores ?
I have not been in Canada for the past 5 years and donot have any active credit card.
However, I do have around $ 600 taxes to pay. So it may still show up as pending.

Another free option is through Home depot. Just send an email saying you would like to request for code for credit monitoring. This was part of HD program after they compromised customer CC numbers. No verification, free for everyone who ask as of 6 months ago when I tried (email is HDEnrollment AT homedepot.com). They will send you a one year free cerdit monitoring code for Equifax.
