done need a promotional code... just key in the required fields in bold... answer a bunch of identification verification questions, and give them a credit card number (they dont charge it) to confirm identity...
its on the level... i checked the site certificate, its from trans union..
ps: you dont need to key in your sin number btw...
Don't fill-up Promotion code. Keep it blank.

What is the guaratee that they would not charge your credit card after you enter your credit card information. In the terms of agreement, you agree that they would charge you for this report.

Hi Pramod ji,
I got online credit report yesterday and till time, they have not charged me.
They clearly mentioned at the payment screen that we require your credite card info for just processing / identification purpose and amount field showing '0'.

May be they are done with the free credit report as I tried a couple of times and the screen would not go further and a couple of times it said if Trans Union has provided you a promotional code than do not fill in the credit card info. BTW at the time of identification, they did give me my credit card number so basically they have it and they do not need this info again to verify. I would say you were lucky to get it for free. I hope you find it ok and to your satisfaction.
