Since I am in Canada (2002); applied/ dis-approved/ got/ denied/ said 'NO' to many credits (card or store credits etc.). Have a mortgage and all going normal. Is it a good idea to see my credit score. Just to know if all is fine. Only recently one credit card was denied, inspite of good payment history. But then the (credit card) company changing and not telling the reasons.
Does asking for credit report goes against me in any way: How to do this?

"Only recently one credit card was denied," - THERE MUST BE REASON -
GO TO EQUIFAX AND ORDER :
Score Powerâ„¢ REPORT WILL COST U Price: $23.95 CDN - but worth putting money since it will give u details information along with your fico score.
u r recently got denied - means either u have to may inquiries in current couple of months or you have over limits on your credit cards , loans
or u may have bad history on particular account - may late payments , or u hv some problem with some of institute and u r fighting over and not paying -
or u have fraud on your name - some one might have took advantage of you inforamtion and go some kind of credit and fu..c..k up
SO ACT FAST ORDER YOUR REPORT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE , GO THREW EACH ENTRY AND CHECK WITH YOU CURRENT LOANS AND CREDIT CARD, YOU WILL FIND ALL INFO... IF U SEE ANY THING SUSPICIOUS - START CALLING THAT INSTITUTE, EQUIFAX OR U MAY HAVE TO FILE POLICE REPORT
Dont be lazy to fix this issue, work hard on it , cause credit is very important and u dont wanna make it mess...
Link to get your power score report online:
https://www.econsumer.equifax.ca/ca/main?forward=/view/common/template.jsp&body=/view/home/home.jsp&lang=en&show=null
My advice:
dont ask for regular report, pay 24$ and get the powerscore will give u all details on your all accounts.

You can check your history. You are given one report free once in 12 months. GO EQUIFAX.CA, CALL THEM AND They will send you a copy. It will not give you any credit score which should not matter to you.
No, u will not loose any points since u r going to check by your self.
