Wow... if that were true... i wouldn't be in Engineering here at school. When you have Canadian qualifications you are almost guarenteed a job. Though it also depends on what type of engineer you are is if there is a high demand for it here. For example Comp and Elec has gone down drastically within the last few years. But if you are in Mech or Manufacturing... there is always a demand out there.
