Dear Canadian Desi,

I’m a regular visitor to this site. I applied for my Canadian citizenship on March 28th and got receipt on April 28th that they have received my application. I did try to look at e-client status but cant find my application online. I’ve few questions:

1) How long will it take to get citizenship?
2) How long will it take to see my file in e-client?
3) When will I get my citizenship test?
4) Should I need fingerprint?
5) How long will it take to get oath?
6) How long will it take to get passport after the oath?

I got married on march 28th in India and came back to US on a 5 months contract. My wife is working in Boston. I’ve few questions.

1) How to apply for her PR?
2) Should I wait till I get my citizenship?
3) If applied for her PR, how long will it take?
4) Apply from India or US?
5) What is the time frame?

1.) Same way as you applied for your PR, without going through any IMMIGRATION AGENTS !!!
2.) Not necessary. As long as you can show proof of funds/support for the 3/10 year criterion, you can apply anytime
3.) Should be faster than yours as it will be a PR/citizen sponsoring his spouse. Read the timelines posted by other users abt sponsoring their wives. I dunno as I am single
4.) Silly question You know the answer !
