Thanks for all your valuable information to all fellow Canadian Desi's. I've applied for my Citizenship on march 2004. Got receipt number on April 28th 2004. I did try number of times at http://www.cic.gc.ca" rel="nofollow">LINK for online status. I can't see my status online. I heard that generally after the 6th month you can see online.
How long will it take to come online?
How long will it take to get my test? I
Is Finger Print necessary?
What will be the timeline for Oath?
Any advice will be appricated.

Did u complete your 1095 days of physical prsence in canada and then went to states?

Yes from 1999 to June 2004 was in Canada. It mean all 5 years in Canada.

Hello Mr. Massood,

I want to know does changing your mailing address after applying for citizenship causes the processing time to increase? Secondly, if after completing 1095 days and applying, I go outside Canada, is it necessary to inform CIC?
