The job duration is only 3 months. What will the person do after that? Don't you have permanent jobs in this field? Also, here is no mention of the salary.

Premanent positions:
Would be happy to post permanent positions as and when they come along.
Current trend seems to favour contract positions.
Why no salary/rate mentioned ?
Usually in course of the preliminary discussions, an ALL INCLUSIVE RATE is requested from suitable candidates. ALL INCLUSIVE RATE includes base rate plus all costs related to the tenure of the contract such as travel, boarding & lodging etc.
As this rate varies from individual to individual, no fixed rate is mentioned in the job posting.
A few more points about short term contracts:
1. Short term contracts , essentially fit IT professionals who are between contracts or jobs.
2. There is no need to relocate and all expenses are paid.
3. It is an excellent opportunity to keep your skills honed, expand your network
4. Contract to hire possibilities, although not guaranteed are not uncommon.
If you require any further clarifications, please drop me an email at partha.lahiri@maxsec.ca

i will tell you this... once you "taste" consulting, you mayl never want to be a permanent employee again
ofcouse some people cant take the stress of consulting and would prefer the security of steady employment...
unfortunate side effect of consulting is, most people go through a "feast and famine" cycle... for six months they make enough money to live lavishly for two years, but after the six month contract ends are without work for another six months... if you play your cards right, you can walk away from consulting jobs a very very well off guy...
