Hi,
Want to know more about NanoTechnology?
Check out this transcript of the classic talk that Richard Feynman gave on December 29th 1959 at the annual meeting of the American Physical Society at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech)

Hi ani70,
The advancements made in nonoscience and technology are breathtaking. The knowledge gained indicates the differences between physical laws operating at nano, micro amd macro levels. The benefits to society appear to be endless.
Sometime ago when I was following up on superconductivity research I was pleasantly surprised to know that now through nanotechnology it is theoretically possible to 'manufacture' superconducting materials with transition temperatures above room temperature.
It is now a matter of time when intelligent nanomachines would perform surgical repairs without the need for hospitalization.
I am waiting for the exciting days of picoscience and picotechnology.

Man's Best Friend
For an indepth view into the world of nanotechnology and how it can go wrong read Micheal Crichton's Prey. Thoroughly entertaining and worth the time for science fiction buffs.

I have only 2 cents to contribute, not a cent more, not a cent less ;-)
My2cents......
Couldnt agree more..... brilliant book. Thoroughly enjoyed it.......... And was amazed at the marvel of nanotechnology and biotechnology......
