I am presently on work permit and in the process of applying for PR and the visa office Buffalo asks for original transcripts of all university degrees, now here I am getting some problem.. I am getting difficulty in obtaining transcript from from my undergrad university.. is it possible that I submit original transcript of my highest degree only. will they accept my application like this..
please guide me

Hi,
I feel lucky as I was on Work-Permit in Ottawa and applied for my PR in Buffalo. They did not ask me anything like that - my xerox of the Transcripts and Certificate worked out. But that was 1999.
However, they asked me to provide them with a Job Description Certificate from my previous ex-Employer in India. This is on top of the Service Certificate (or call it, Experience Certificate) - I got from my ex-Employer in India.
So, I went to a Notary and got an Affidavit. I put my Job Decrription in there and it worked.
What I would suggest here is that (and I "always"do that) - do an Affidavit and put the details of 'Year of Passing', 'Pass Grade/Division', 'Institution/University/Board' in the affidavit and send it to the Buffalo guys and that should work.
Affidavit is a powerful tool and we can use it to our advantage, very effectively. It helped me in my WP, PR, Sponsorships - everywhere. I do not have a Birth Certificate and have only 2 Educational Certificates.
I prepared my Affidavit in a way which will list all info and address their every concerns. I always try to calm their nerves thru my Affidavit. It works wonders.
