There are other business immigration alternatives that are sometimes faster & cheaper. Take a look at http://www.pnpimmigration.com" rel="nofollow">LINK

Dear Masoodji,

It encouraged me to ask something on reading your post and reviewing pnp immigration program (Ontario is eliminated from this provincial list).

What is the advantage of spending or putting such a huge amount of money in lock for five years ? Is there any law that such investors do not have to pay tax for certain years agaist their payment of such fund to Canadian Government?

I have read in some forum that such investor utilizing their in hand money for living in Canada (Rent, Food etc) i.e. deposited with Canadian bank have option for not paying tax up to three years period. Is it true that such business class immigrants can travel any amout of time in & out Canada and have no objection to comply with 2 years/5 years law?

I also have heard that one can get monthly pensions from Government only after paying Tax for minimum nine years. So if such class of investor with retired age enters in Canada and does not want to pay tax will have any problem to live ? If he meets the expenses from his own fund as bank deposits.

Please comment.

Mrs.Praveen

This is a classic example of reading too many forum posts and not knowing who is giving correct advice.

You don't pay taxes on the money deposited with the Federal government. You can travel but are not exempt from the 2/5 year rule for maintaining residency.
