Schools affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will have to grant full fee waiver from class VI onwards to girls who happen to be the only child in their families.

Gujarat has free education for females for long time. Not only within Gujarat, but the government is paying fees evenif a gujarati female gets admission to any of the out-of-state government institite.

The free education was available to all girls. Now they also restricated and you should have only one daughter in order to receive it.

Good move I can say.

Which also means, free education for lone girl child in ALL CBSE schools - in India and abroad (ME, in particular)
