Called the CIC office today and was told that they are opening applications received on Sept 20, 2007. Was also informed that they are experiencing huge delays currently.

hi cd members

applied in aug and dec 10th i received the book for the exam prep

there is a huge delay as specified by some members

so just wait and watch .

Finally i see my application recieved by them.
I see the above status online, but not yet recieved any correspondence via mail.
I applied on Sept13th..god know when will i get the written test and oath...if they just started recieving the applications

I just received the invitation for the test date: Dec 20, 2007. (Application received Aug 28; Started processing Nov 14)
