OK Now it is updated. But looks like they want some additional information. I wonder what. My application was straight forward.

"We sent you a letter on February 27, 2008. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the letter before sending us additional information, as the letter will outline all information that is required"

Any Ideas? I called up help line and they won't provide any information on the details of the letter posted to me.

We started processing your application on December 10, 2007.
Your file was transferred to the Mississauga CIC office on February 20, 2008.
still waiting for a test

I called CIC office last Friday and was told that the application has now been forwarded to the local Mississauga office for the exam. The website still shows as just processing.
Application Received : Oct 05, 2007.
Started Processing : Jan 31, 2008.

DreamzUnlimited : Please update this post when you get your call for citizenship exam.

for the test,dated 19th march ,

Good luck man, Let me know how it goes. I know you applied Aug 24th.. I applied Sep 6th, but my file only said transferred to local office Feb 16th or 18th, can't remember, so I think I still have a few months for the test.

Application Sent on Aug 28,2007
CIC received application = Sep 4, 2007
Online Status 'Received' = Nov 12, 2007
Acknowledgement Letter = November 4, 2007 Not yet receieved
Online Status 'In Process' = November 27, 2007 (started processing November 26, 2007)
Application sent to Local office on 2nd Jan 2008
Advised CIC to wait for a Month till I get back from vacation
Windsor office sent test letter = Feb 14, 2008
Test scheduled = March 5, 2008
Completed the test = March 5, 2008
Waiting for Oath

(Windsor is ahead of schedule and we may have Oath ceremony by April-May)

Finally I got call for citizenship test on March 25th... I guess I am little short of 3 years (30 days i guess)..does any1 has any related info how it may affect on the process..
