Chandresh since advise is free, you should use public transport ( subway in Canada or mumbai local in you know) try to use the same route/time so as to be a familiar face and then use 'hook line and sinker with the familiar faces.

All the learning gained are valuable lesson charged by amway,

also be nice to Gopal pai as she has always been true nice and helpful to everyone in her posts

Amway is a total fraud and a pyramid with only select few making money while the rest slog for those at the top of the pyramid.
I was conned into it when I used to visit the SQ 1 walmart , by the way the Amway vultures are hanging around there looking for new immigrants. Luckily I saw thru this and pulled out or else I would be eating expensive protein bars for lunch and saying Awesome! like all Amwayheads.
All these guys should get real jobs and stop conning gullible new immigrants. All of them are losers.

3 times i came across these bogus------one time in Tim Hortons, one time in Walmart and one time at Square one .....They are very nice, friendly people. I keep myself away from them. Does anyone know this company ACN. I have a friend crazy with that company and he tried his best to entice me to join - I had seen their video, they show you cruises, luxury dining. Doesnt look real at all. They prey most of the time for new immigrants or someone desperately looking for job.

The following links are blogs, forums, posts, etc about people's experiences about these Amway (or its variants) parasites. Goes to say, just because it's legal doesn't make it right.

I have a theory that MLM scams like Amway are targetting immigrants because they a) have likely never grown up hearing about scams like Amway :) and b) may be too polite to say 'no ' to pushy sales people and actually be convinced.

So if you are a pushover, please do not ever go to a timeshare presentation either!! :D

I understand previous bloggers say "you have nothing to loose".
Absolutely - NOT TRUE. Calculate your time, loss of friendship, frustration -when you discover the real facts. It all adds up. I would rather suggest - use the initial joining fee to presue some professional development & become a consultant (where there are more chances of success).

When you are desperately looking for job/additional income, then above kind of holds true....you are not loosing your time because otherwise you are not doing much anyway (or too lazy, too exhausted to do it). Loss of friendship? You know you will find dozens of folks in similar activity so you will have friends...Frustration??? not to one who is doing the business..frustration to the folks who joins the program and cannot keep up with it.
So whoever is doing this and sticking with it are probably reaping the benefits..whoever are half minded or reluctant, are getting frustrated. Now scammers come on guys..the credit card sellers at Canadian tires are more pushy than these guys. They are annoying but not pushy so give them a chance. They will call you couple of times but that is about it. When you say no they will not bother you.
I can immediately sense amway sales folks the way they initiate the conversationbut no one so far was rude or pushy.
Just for the record: I am not associated to amway in any way and nor are my friends. But whoever Amway person I met with has a decent family with small kids and beautiful, well dressed wife :)
