Real Estate & Mortgages: Brampton/Mississauga, why the cost difference
Started by: chittesh on 01 Nov 2006
...I came to Canada from Mumbai and in Mumbai the cost of a house in say Borivali is 1/3 the cost of a house say in Bandra. Some of the reasons why that is 1) Better water supply 2) Better quality of roads etc Now a detached house which will cost 400K in Mississauga can be had for 280-300K in Brampton WHY? Its not like India where there is water/electricity problems etc in some areas and not in other. What are the factors that make houses in brampton cheaper t

People from different cultures and countries come to Canada and make it diverse; it's good but it may not necessarily bring out the definite factors that make up a successful nation of immigrants. My answer is NO. It should not be that we should have our Indian culture. Why? should we have one? Our choice to leave our country answers this question. Why did we leave India? Why did we come to Canada, we did not have jobs waiting for us so we can have no excuse to justify, it was our choice and we adopted Canada as our country to reside in for the rest of our lives.
