I am not an expert, but want to make a relative comparison between India and US. based on the past scenirio. I belive USD will bounce back sooner or later, at the most G.W. bush may have to go.

1. India, in the early 90's during JDs Chandrashekar was in power , was in a bad shape had very little reserve, ready to sell it's gold to Japan. In otherwords was in complete financial mess.

2. It's exactly opposite now.

3. If India can do it with proper management, why not a super power like US. It may take a while say 5 to 8 years, but I feel it will bounce back.

Ok..The CAD is on the rise against the US$..

I am clear about the benefits in relation to Indian Rupee..meaning, if i spend my CAD$ in india, i am bound to get more number of rupees.

1) But, what are the benfits of a rising CAD in canada?

2) will goods or services be any cheaper for us in canada?

3) I think, when i travel to USA then i am bound to get much higher value for my CAD but then the visitors from USA are bound to get less bang for their buck!

Enlighten me, please
