Has any1 tried buying gold coins(24k) from abroad and selling them in Canada as landed Immigrants..........Are there any restrictions ??

If you disclose those while landing then it's duty free. Or else you have some customer duties attached. Other than that, there should not nothing else. And yea, if by selling you are making a profile, then it has to be mentioned in your tax returns

buying gold in Canada is more safe and the gold punch is guaranteed, its all about "LAW", Corruption in India is widespread, police and court systems are all bribed, a tourist in Canada who goes shopping for gold in India or even goes with family members will get no where in making a complaint...the media will be bribed, cops will be and the courts, and they don't wouldn't care in making an investigation...

back home they are trained to rob tourist, the gold in India ranges from 19k-22k, so your not getting what you paid for, as well in India they solder gold in silver and copper and not gold, hence decreasing the final golds purity...but in canada and neighbour country its KDM solder, which is gold, the best place to buy gold is Dubai, and the next best thing is < Advertising info removed > at Mississauga, all their gold is from Dubai.
