I have downloaded th efree version. Trying to look at chennai and bangalore. Is there a way to pinpoint the area/locality using the features?
DIO
The resolution for Bangalore and Chennai is pretty good. Just zero down on the city and spot any major landmark and then follow the routes to see the area you want to, if you know the city well. It is not smart enough to tell you different areas in a city, but what it can show is pretty powerful in itself.
I could go over New Delhi and see my house and school, University etc.

Thx MI,
Now the problem is that when I double click on the application file, it pops up a window asking for Modify, repair or remove the program. Do I need to remvoe and then reinstall the program?
Frustrating!
DIO
DIO,
Try removing and reinstalling maybe that will help ...i am not a PC expert, and someone else on the forum might be able to help.
Good luck

what you are doing is clicking the actual install file. so hence the prompts you get are normal.
You dont need to remove and install again.
What you should do is click Start -> programs -> google earth.
This is the actual programme after install.
Hope this helps.
