Any one has recent experience in traveling Jet airways, Etihad and Saudi airlines? Tickets to Bangalore or Chennai direct . I found prices are varying $1300 to 1600 mid Sept to Nov 15.

Two weeks ago when I checked, JET was selling Mid Sept tickets for just under a $1000 YYZ - BLR I am betting my bottom dollar that it will be $900 or there abouts today. (Jetfuel hit a low today!!)

Travelling from Montreal to kochi next Wednesday for a month. Cost is 1560 cad. The route is via London and Mumbai. If it was upto Mumbai, cost is only around 1300

Never take tickets for multiple domestic sectors from Canada.
Assuming that you donot have much luggage which may be a through check in, Mumbai to Kochi is only around Rs 4400 and thus you need to pay only Rs 8800. Anyways, I think you will have your customs in Mumbai and hence it will not be a thorough check in.

However, fro m Canada you have paid around Rs 14,000 for the trip.

Use make my trip or book directly in the airlines site for domestic sectors.

You could have spent the saved money on Lulu mall, the best mall in south india

My air Canada flight from Montreal to London arrived late and I missed the jet airways connection to Mumbai. Air canada rebooked me in air India via Mumbai to kochi. Most surprising thing is that bags will be claimed directly in kochi and customs checks and immigration is also in kochi.
