I thought SRK looked skinny in DON. I dont know. Could be the DVD or my eyesight.

What's wrong with comparing?
I think MR with her credentials is proabably the best person to compare. Us old-timers () are a bit biased towards Amitabh anyways, maybe MR can approach it from a neutral angle.
MR, would you be so kind to watch the DON with Amitabh and let us know what you think? Especially in terms of acting?

SRK looks impressive..but was this a movie about criminals or a fashion show?..couldnt make up my mind till the end...The biggest let down - background score by S-E-R...had very high hopes fom the trio...this was supposed to be a high profile dark movie and the background was so low profile..it wasnt just good enough for a movie of this stature...and farhan akhtar..well..I think he is aiming low with every film or was DCH a fluke???

After reading several posts on CD and comments in various mags and periodicals and listening to some of my friends I did not watch the new DON until yesterday.
To tell you the truth, I thought it was much much better than the original camp version. It lent real meaning to 'Don ko pakadna mushkil nahin, na mumkin hai!" Yeah man, right on!
The only thing better in the original was the 'paan banarasi wallah' song.
The new version eclipsed everything else.
I like the old formula theme with modern gizmos. Cool. And the skydiving scene- deadly!(prob 'cos I used to skyride way back in the late 80's and early 90's)
Anyway to each their own.
Am waiting for the remake of Sholay. Any news on that? That's the only movie(Bollywood, Hollywood or other) I've seen 4 times in a day! What a flick!
Yeah, I'm one of the few oldies who say that the new DON is better than the old.
